Post pics here and we will tell you. No serial number not a good sign though. Loads of fakes out there, ebay are partly to blame as they allow the sales of fake decals....even the masterbuilder ones are on there now.

Best to purchase a Custom Shop from a reputable source, One that will allow a full refund if not what was advertised.....

Personally I would never buy a Custom Shop on E-Bay, there are too many pitfalls and the CS's are common enough if you do some research.
There are Dealers that will ship worldwide and there are preowned CS's at those dealers.
A handful are in the New York region and ship to all parts of the globe...

Your sota missing out then. I've found really good deals on Fender Customshop and Masterbuilts on Ebay. You just have to be patient. This baby below was over 5K new at wildwood. Picked it up for 2900.00 on ebay. Non Dealer. Image Double Bound Masterbuilt built by Jason Smith. I have a few others but one is enough to make a point.

Nice guitar...However I always prefer to be able to plug and play a guitar before purchase...
For me that is the only way to purchase a new instrument....
If it isn't the right one, I certainly don't want to have to deal with sending it back and all the details involved...
So much easier to place it back on its rack or hook at the shop...

Just a chance you take when buying used. In this case I was already familiar with the neck carve, Plus it's a 5500.00. Not alot to not like. Some depends where you live. I live where closest neighbors are 1000 ft away . Small town. No where within a 2 hr drive to play decent fenders. I have no choice but the Internet

Of Course then. there are at least 3 Custom Shop Dealers within an hour's drive of my front door, and 3 other shops within an hour which handle Fender....
I can understand when the logistics are too far...

No choice but internet when you live overseas and look for a guitar not imported in Europe...

XTRAJERRY: If you really want one I know where one is used for 3500.00. Could probably talk the guy down some. He's had it for sale for almost a year on and off. The only thing I'd question is he used my pictures. That's my guitar on my deck. I'd ask to see a newer picture. Let me know
