I just had to share. This thing is absolutely beautiful, plays like a dream and is without a doubt the best sounding guitar I've ever played. Perfectly spec'd with Brazilian rosewood, amazing John Cruz pickups and fast neck!

I cannot say enough nice things about Troy and the rest of the folks at wildwood.

Coming from a vintage radius to the 10" is night and day. Even a 2 step bend on the 19th fret is a breeze. And these pickups... Oh these pickups.

Wildwood has Fenders with Brazillian necks. It would be listed in the specks.

I thinks it's Brazilian mostly because they told me so. But, having played it all night long I can definitely see the subtle differences. Brazilian hardwoods like this and Epay are extremely oily as a result of their climates/environments/soil. It's almost self lubricating. definitely a tighter grain pattern and smoother surface than other CS Strats that I've played with Indian.

Thanks for the congrats.

I took a 2 hour break to do some work and now I'm playing again. Probably won't put it down until the turkey is served!

I would highly suggest to anyone in the market for a custom shop to look at the wildwood limited editions first!

The phrase "Kwisatz Haderach" bears close resemblance to the Hebrew phrase "Kefitzat Haderech" (literally: "The Way's Jump"), a Kabbalic term related to teleportation.

Ah, I love the internet.

Cheers
