It's beautiful. And judging by the price, and the fact it's a Cruz Masterbuild, I don't think you'll find less that 30 of those in the world. More like, 3.

I know John, so this post caught my eye. He's a pretty good bassist too. A few years back I was in the custom shop in Corona, CA and saw them working on these (i.e. making the wood worn and using chemicals to make the hardware look aged-yet retaining the metal integritty). I couldn't see myself purchasing a "used-looked" axe knowing that it wasn't me--nor another person--who made it worn out by normal means (i.e. gigging). Boy was I wrong, after seeing the prices that these babies are now fetching.

Thank you for that guys. I have to say that this guitar is superb.....it may be an ultimate relic in its appearance but, despite this, it is by far the best built and put together strat that I own. Not to mention the quality of its sound and tone etc
