I don't see them anywhere either Alain. What happened ? Did I miss something or were they getting out of control ?

This thread is still around:

viewtopic.php?f=13&t=61467

If you are talking about the one under "Announcements", its old news almost two months old. Seems like those threads come and go as they should.

Not the same, the "Announcements" one which was strongly alive.

Alain,

You will notice that many of the "Announcement" threads have been removed and new ones put in their place. That's what an "Announcement" is for: to announce something new. After two months, the announcement is no longer new nor news. Seems to me that it is only proper that those threads be closed deleted. Plenty of new ones will take their place in the regular forums once the products get out into the world.

Perhaps you should start a new thread in the modern amp forum or add to the exisiting thread in the same forum.

Bill,

You are right
Just thought they could simply transfer the discussion to where it would belong so to keep the thread alive although no more in the announcements.
But that's not so important
Alain

Yeah, they could have and maybe they should have but for whatever reason they chose not to. Just another of life's little mysteries, I guess.

I still get emails when someone posts on the thread. I'll make a note of its location for next time.

I've been in my local Guitar Center several times since their release and I haven't seen one in the amp section. This store doesn't have a Platinum Room with a hyperactive door guard asking for bank account information of anyone who doesn't look like they just parked their Ferrari in the 'no parking' zone outside. I suppose the amp would be too heavy to raise up to the ceiling where they keep all their high end Fender guitars so that the weekend headbangers won't beat the crap out of them. All the Mesa Engineering tonnage is out there. No one can move that stuff anyway.
