Txs guys.

That's a Rosewood Strat, master built by Yuri Shishkov, "stuffed" with Abby's pickup.

Heavy as hell, but what a sound and what a look ... :D

I've always been curious as to how you afford these guitars. Aren't you like, 18?

Some of us younger people make more than most people think. Take me for example, I'm 18 and a professional backing musician. I've toured the country (soon the world), and I buy most of my equipment myself (including the CS Strats/TeIes I tour with).

of course this is just me, not sure what the OP's situation is. Some people have inheritances from deceased family members, others just have a great paying job. I know Jon (Drkdgler07) is in his early/ mid 20s and has an outstanding job. not to mention he's a kick-@55 guitarist! lol

Fender built two of those. One stayed with the company, the other went to George as a gift. George ultimately gave that guitar to Delaney Bramlett as thanks for a favor done. Bramlett auctioned that guitar off recently. I've always wondered the mindset of George, in letting that fabulous piece go. I doubt that Alain would have, and he's got his own versions.

Did I hear that the Harrison family bought the guitar back? I wonder... if anyone knows, please chime in.

Yes, it was bought back by the George Harrison Estate.

Just showztago-ya.....Had he given it to me, I would have seen fit to return it to his estate, in the same manner in which I had received it....at no cost....and in memory of and as tribute to a great artist. Apparently altruism doesn't run that deep in some. :?
