Mike,

I bought a Cabronita from musicians friend a year ago. I love it ! In conversation with a local guitar center store manager, I was told that those particular models were bought after a namm show and that they are not the same as the Limited Ed. Cabronita. He even said that those namm cabronita's were called Especial to differentiate them from the limited version.

Is there any truth to his comments? I always thought they were identical?

Joe

Wrong.
This is one from the first batch; 1 out of 10.

Thanks Alainlafrrance,

I was hoping you would chime in. I hate it when people do not know what they are talking about. He was hoping that I would trade it in but I did not fall for the bait.

Can you tell me if yours has limited edition on back of head stock and how do you know which batch?

Mine -

No, no special mention on the back of the headstock apart from the CS logo
Mine is from the 10 first black ones with one pick up of 2009.
If my memory is good they are identical; ME mentioned that somewhere here.
Great guitar BTW; I gig with it

Great picture :D

Mine has a 2/17/2009 birthdate. Probably not from the first batch anyway.

Thanks for the info
