I know this isn't a "Fender" guitar, per say(even though Leo Fender owned the company) but I just wanted to show the quality of this. The only Fenders I have seen in this finish are Custom Shop models. This has swamp ash body with wood binding, tinted neck. Awesome guitar in it's own right.img]ImageImageImageImage

That finish is absolutely beautiful! The grain's really nice as well. It's a great colour combination with the finish, black pickguard and white covers.

I've never had the opportunity to play a G&L, always wanted to though.

I think the Fender equivalent of the G&L Blackburst finish is Ebony Transparent.

Beautiful guitar.

I had two G&L but never could bond with them.

Could not fault the workmanship though they were very sturdy.

One thing that bugged me was the tint on their necks. Much too emphatic. As when you turn up the saturation in Photoshop.
