Really? Then you can do this on an EC Grey LTD with Lace Sensors.

And don't forget to include the cigarette hole!

The black strap suggests late 1991/early 1992, I guess…

Great looking Geeetar!

Shame WE didn't get the same as the actual EC - body finish (super thin nitro based), body contours (deeper), neck finish (superglue), etc...

If you purchase a masterbuilt EC Custom, then you can benefit from all those features…

No you can't. They won't do SG necks if you send them a gas mask and $1,000,000! And the MBs don't have the same contours. If you can get a picture of the back of one of Eric's own and compare it to 'public versions' then you'll see the difference.

I've got the body finish on my most recent EC as I specified it. Prefer it (only looks wise) to the regular poly EC that the public get.

Masterbuilts are guitars "built for the artist".

With a Masterbuilt EC Custom you get the same guitar Eric uses onstage and in the studio.
You can benefit from the super thin nitro lacquer option if you order this axe from Wildwood and other retailers.

We expect a reaction from ZZDoc about this debate.

Nice idea to resurrect an old thread. :D

Yeah, right! I'm sure not even you believe that marketing! The MBs have never had the body finish by default, have never had the contours of Eric's and have never had the SG necks*. Any other differences we wanna talk about?

* happy to accept SG necks are a thing of the past.
