I went to see Albert Lee and John Jorgensen last night at the Tupelo Music Hall in NH. They were amazing. Monster players. Albert played his signature Ernie Ball made guitar through a black face Fender twin. John had a custom shop strat and tele, beautiful guitars but weird. The Strat had gold sparkle finish and guard with those type of split single coil pickups like they used on the old Fender Electric twelves and the Tele had the same sparkle top and guard but an extended ash tray bridge with two bridge pickups and two neck pickups. He played those through a Vox AC30. Highlights for me, though it was all good, was Albert's "Country Boy" and John's "Back on Terra Firma"

So talk to me about John's guitars.

It looks like that but the one he had last night looked a lot newer and was gold sparkle, the same as the guard, not black sparkle like that one.

The Tele was the same color and looked like this one

apparently they were a signature model team built series for awhile

Yeah, those are what we've posted already. I should've expected you would have a couple Alain. Nice stuff. The Strat he had though like I said wasn't black. I wondered if they were master built and if so by who?

Here's a shot from the Vancouver show

Must be a one-off because the others are from the Fender-Japan Custom Shop.
