I have just purchased brand new MK5127 (by Greg Fessler) here in the UK. Can anybody tell me roughly how many were made and exactly what is supposed to be included in the case candy? I have 2 certificates, strap, sealed packet with trem etc.....also there is a picture of the Mary Kay trio in a plastic wallet.

In the plastic wallet there is a cut out which looks like it should hold a card or something???

Also I have heard there should be a mirror??

Any help would really be appreciated....thank you

Nobody will know how many have been made that's Fender 's policy. But not a huge number due to the price (well worth by the way)
It's a great guitar, really great believe me. I own many, so I may know.
On top of what you listed there is also a DVD with Mary Kaye including Abigail Ybarra winding these incredible pups.

If brother-rabbit is interested, and new to the forums, he can search the Stratocaster threads for "Show us your Strats", and see a sampling of alainlafrance's collection. Be prepared to be blown away!!

A lot of alainlafrances's collection is on Webshots. You may have to take it in a little at a time, or chance lapsing into some sort of custom shop coma.

Alain: perhaps you can address my question re: the EC guitar which I placed on the CS Forum earlier. I've previously owned a production model and have a CS built guitar on the Clapton platform. My first strat was a original '58 purchased in that year. Your CS copy is a wonderful reproduction and yes, the 3- color sunburst is 'dimed'. It was very subtle that year. I wanted them to do that for my guitar but they did not get it that close.

Thanks for your interest.

Who can solve this problem?

On the 2005 Master Built Mary Kaye Ltd Edition should the screws and springs on the bridge be black....or gold like the rest of the hardware? I have seen different pictures on the net both documenting this 2005 Mary Kaye guitar and some show black springs and screws with the gold hardware and some show all gold!!!

Please can someone tell me which is correct???...or did they do both which i find hard to believe??

I appreciate any help with this.....can someone from Fender please verify this for me?
