thats nice! does it have a 1pc or a maple cap neck?

if it is a maple cap, would you take a closeup pic of the butt of the neck? I'd really like to see what the cap looks like one these guitars.

thanks,

Based on the fact that there is no skunk stripe in the picture, it seems that it MUST be a maple Cap.

I'm not sure i can catch that maple cap on picture, sorry. Just imagine a usual rosewood cap but in maple instead
The PU:s are lollar special s, but i'm gonna replace at least the neck pickup with the original Custom Shop '69. i'm not sure yet what PU its gonna be in the middle position.
Sorry my english folks ;) But the guitar is a sweet piece.

Did this guitar use a 3 or a 5-way switch?

It has a 5 way installed now. But it's a oak grigsby so i don't think thats the original one. Don't they use CRL for the 5 way switches?

The original 1969 Strat used a 3-way switch. The 5-way didn't came into surface until 1977.

I've seen several 50s, 60s and early-to-mid 70s models with a 5-way switch.
