I'm curious if anyone knows at what point during production does the custom shop stamp the date on the neck and body of guitars (stamp or hand write)? Does the date go on at the end (just before they apply finish) or at the beginning of the guitars production?

Also I would be interested to know how long the building of a (custom shop team built) guitar normally takes from start to finish?

Thanks for any info!

I personally always assumed the date goes on last but then that may not be the case...
