I noticed that inside the Tremolo Acess panel it is stamped LM in ink and stamped relic...now my guitar is a 2001 CS Relic. Does anyone know what the LM means? I had somone at Sam Ash tell me its the builders initials, then someone at Guitar Center told me it means Limited Master..could somebody please help me with this? Thanks

I don't know if this is of any value, but when Mike Eldred looked at my CS pictures he believed the body to be older than the neck - which is dated 2000.

I wonder if this stamp is something to do with the Vince Cunetto finishes? Is it possible that earlier bodies in the transition back to in-house CS were matched to later necks? It may only be a matter of months.

Just a thought.

Looking at CH's pic, spotted that the two claw screws are different to each other. Are they the original ones fitted, or has one been replaced, I wonder?

All right, call me anal...

Oops - sorry Dude.

I've deleted the posts so as not to distract from this thread. I was attempting to help out posting my pic of the LM stamp.
