Now, even though not asked to, Mike gives his opinion on the internet about how others shouldn't give their opinions on the internet without being asked.
To me that's fascinating. Not bagging on you, though.

Would you:
a) Say, "very nice" or "congratulations".
b) Say, "well she's cute, but I really like kids to have short hair".

Your position is well taken, except for one minor issue. You are not trying to sell me your kid.....I hope. In the meeting of the minds herein, there still remains a small minority, yours truly included, who prefer not to spend significant coin on an instrument which looks like it was dragged behind a truck. So the sharing of the kinds of opinions expressed by Nevin, in this example, is the kind of feedback the company is entitled to, in determining the direction of its product development. I defer to that gorgeous red strat at the top of the 2011 Road Show LTD's you teased us with and still owe us the specs and MSRP's for. There's nothing on the Zoo's website regarding that. BTW...if I added that I would prefer that guitar with a Clapton neck profile, or at least the '57VHR's, that might be another option to think about going forward.

In another, but related issue.....we had some heat on another Forum during the past two days about commercial postings which is deemed a no/no according to the rules and regs. Are all animals still equal or are.............................................?

Hope you got some rest before jumping back into the frying pan.

Doc.

FWIW: #8 is Seafoam Green. It was in a Guitar Center platinum room but has since sold. Sorry.

Now Mike has to hire a 'Fender Mender' to make them whole again. He needs to keep a better eye on his 'children'. Showing too many people their pictures, I think.

I cannot wait til the relic trend dies. Makes me angry actually. Instead of paying their employees to take chains and boxcutters to every guitar that comes out of the CS, they could be lowering their prices and getting their guitars in more now disaffected (once) CS dealers -- namely the one in my area who has moved on to Anderson and Suhr.

And then for Mike to admit online that he doesn't care to hear the opinions of customers? Disgusting.

Not the some other guy that took the other picture, just to be clear on that.... not that he hasn't been prone to damage some other ... things ... at some other times.

No, not "that" guy! His damage was always "accidental!"

Don't be too hard on the guy. Sure I dig at him often enough but they don't come any better than Mike. Right now the trend is to dirty guitars.Meeting demand is the nature of business. { Perhaps I should have left my '58 Strat be back in 1969 when I sent it out to then CBS-Fender to be refinished. They swapped out the body for a '64 instead of refinishing mine. They did stuff like that back then....like taking a Sunburst and painting it black [Custom Colors]...recall the Gilmour??} You can still get what you want 'when you're ready.'
