I just purchased a brand new in the box '59 Relic P-bass from a dealer that had it since 1999. It was shipped to me..
When I received it, I noticed that none of the saddle height screws will turn because they too "corroded"..I even tried soaking one in pentrating oil and that did nothing.
Fender CS told me they have no "reliced" saddles in stock and it will be about 2 weeks....seems nutty but that is what they said...now today I discover that the intonation adjusting screws on the E & G string will not turn either....
Now I am asking Fender to either take this thing back or hook me up with a CS repair shop locally....I am not cutting or sawing screws to get the saddles off...
Maybe they should replace the whole bridge...I don't know.....just very pissed right now..
You spend 3k on a bass and don't expect to have this kind of petty BS happen.
Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this or am just the lucky one??

Signed....a very disappointed CS owner :(

See my response in the "Ask Mike Eldrid" thread. I have no sympathy for your plight.
