Don't get me wrong, i'm really happy with my current guitar:

But now i'm in the position to trade it for a guitar from the limited 2010 run of '62 Relic Strats with Brazilian rosewood fret boards, great spec..10” radius, 6105 frets. ’65 big C shape neck, handwound pickups

Image

■Body: 2 piece light alder
■Pickups: Handwound Agibail Vintage Strat Pickups
■Pickguard: aged 4-ply Tortoiseshell
■Neck: straight grain maple - from end to end - black and dirty
■65 big "C" neck profile
■Fretboard: Brazilian Rosewood
■Dots: Clay
■Fretboard Radius: 10."
■21 Frets: 6105 Dunlop
■Decal: 62 Fender Stratocaster Spaghetti
■Keys: Vintage Kluson type
■Hardware: Chrome/Nickel
■Bridge: 62 type Vintage Tremolo
■Wiring: 1 Volume - 1 Tone - 1 Tone / aged white knobs
■5 Way Switch with aged white knob
■Modern Wiring
■Strap Pins Vintage
■Case: Blonde Tolex
■Special: Limited Edition decal on back of the headstock
■Limited Edition Certificate Europe

I'm just a sucker for these specs! what do you guys think i should do, and how much money should i invest to make this trade work? i mean i know abby handwounds + brazilian rosewood are sought after specs, so i'll probably have to bring something extra to the table.

I like the neck profile on the '62 better. Is that "C" neck on the '60 smallish?

Also, is the '62 new or used? That Brazilian board and the Abby pups are going to raise the ante significantly, I would guess.

Is your '60 three tone sunburst and the '62 Oly white? Which do you prefer? I like sunburst Strats, myself.

go with the brazilian rosewood. you can always get a madagascar rosewood neck... not so much on the brazillian.

10" radius? Do they mean 9.5 or is there actually a 10?

I would go with the 62, I have one and I picked it out over masterbuilts and other CS stuff, it sounds and feels incredible, the big+ for me being the BRZ and Abbys. Once they're gone, they're gone!

The guy you are trading with may covet the specs of your guitar.
