Does anyone know if I can get a custom shop "one-off" inlayed with a material I send them? (for example a specific turquoise stone)

Are you thinking about getting a whole guitar from Fender or would you like the inlay on a guitar you already have?

If it's the latter, you might be better off finding a local luthier who could do it for you.

I seriously doubt it, but to be sure contact an Authorized Fender Dealer that can order Custom Shop guitars.

I want to order a whole guitar in the future, although I would like to try it on one of my strats first, thanks for the idea! I'm wondering if a jeweler would be helpful in shaping the dots first. Thanks again

Turquoise would look cool as the markers on a dark rosewood fingerboard.

It all sounds pretty expensive, however.

Good Luck.

I expect it to be a bit pricey, to say the least. I have big plans tho for my dream guitar. I wanted to use this one type of turquoise that comes from Virginia called "Sacred Buffalo". The stuff isn't pure blue like most of it, it has white with blue and some black thru it, and would be perfect for that dark rosewood board you mentioned. I'm sure SRV would approve haha.
