I have a 2010 Masterbuilt Clapton Strat by Greg Fessler and have a question about a gap between the neck and body.
There is a gap between neck and body on the bass string side (hopefully this is visible on the photos below).
Is this a cause for concern ? I have another CS Strat but the neck and body are a perfect fit.

I am thinking as this is a Masterbuilt it surely cannot be a problem.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Best regards

Andy

Looks like the neck has shifted which sometimes happens from shipping.
See how the strings are closer to the edge on the treble side?

A tech can re-align the neck.

Gutted, can understand the need to adjust the truss rod post shipping but not the neck in that direction, not too happy about that.

Is it not just a case of loosening the x4 neck securing screws and making the small required adjustment?

Thanks

It's a minor shifting that will occur on any guitar. You can pull it back easily, just slightly loosen the screws and pull the neck over, then tighten the screws...not too tight.

Thanks to all for the advice AND the compliments. I have seen some great guitars here myself over the past couple of days and I think I will stick around :D

Cheers

To quote George Thorogood: "Everybody funny..."

That high E string looks much happier now.
