Send me a PM with an email address and we'll hope see you late in the year when some of us get together again for lunch.

For those of us not near any authorized shops. Talk to the owner/manager, most will allow a return within a very short time period, because they all know, you have gotta play it!

If a guitar has that "certain something" it will "speak" to you. This is obviously more noticeable with an archtop but if you find yourself playing a truly special solidbody electric you can feel it and even hear it without ever plugging it in. Most solidbodies (sometimes even those with a killer electric tone) have a nondescript, generic "acoustic" tone but there are some Stratocasters and Telecasters which have an amazing "wood tone" as is and you can almost hear what it's going to sound like through an amp. I lucked out because my CS '52 Telecaster Ltd. is a perfect example of this. I could play it for hours and hours without ever feeling the need to plug it in! :D
