I was looking on Fender's quote guide to order it for my guitar. Is it just a tinted neck or is it the poly urethane finish? Or am I way off on both of my thoughts..?

Yes indeed. However, I could not find any information on the quote guide regarding the neck being reliced.

These are the ones I can choose from:

-Base Model Neck Finish
-Nitrocellulose Lacquer
-Polyurethane
-Satin Polyurethane
-Painted Headcap
-Tinted Neck

I'd go with the tinted neck, maybe it automatically means it's reliced.

asking for a tinted neck will just get you that kind of yellowish finish that you can see at both ends.

you need to ask either for a heavy relic finish for the whole guitar (in which case the relic'd neck will come standard afaik), or a sanded back for the neck if you are not into the relic thing.

Yeah that's looks like a vintage tented nitrocellulose finish that has just been sanded down. Some people do that on non-reliced models for playability's sake anyways.

We do it.
You have to specify, "no finish on back of neck".

Great, thanks guys!

For me it's also for "better" playability. I just love the feel.
