Cheers! :D

Ive always been a strat guy and i was after a strat relic but of the few lefties i could find i wasnt totally convinced by the aging. Then i saw this tele and it looked (to me) quite believable so i snapped it up.

Believe it or not, its the first tele ive owned! It has the twisted tele neck and flatpole nocaster bridge pup combo and i really like it alot. That bridge pup really kicks compared to a typical strat one too.

Here's a much better front and back photo of the tele...

Haha  You are correct sir! They are my go to guys for high-end lefties. Both those custom shops were from them.

You've dealt with them then? Have you seen the Coda Music 25th anniversary dealer selects they're getting in right now? Only strats, as far as i know though but really cool specs. teambuilds and masterbuilds due in.

I had a little cynical moan that they didnt have any lefties and i was gobsmacked when they told me they were actually expecting half a dozen as part of that limited run!

They've already got a couple of 25th lefty relics but i might be seriously tempted by an NOS in 3-tone sunburst. I know they're expecting one in any time now.

That White Custom Classic is Sweet!

How do you find the contoured heel? Big difference or minimal?

Wow! very nice custom classic.

What do you make of the N3's? Have you tried SCN's and can compare them tonally??

I have an American Deluxe strat with the contoured heel. Its a cool concept and does make a difference but obviously it all depends on how much time you spend that high up the neck. Which for me actually isnt all that much!

I do not know if it makes much difference to your possible states to reach the upper frets. But it feels nice to hold on. :D

I've never played on a guitar with SCN's. So I can not compare them with N3's. But these N3's blows me completely away. And with the S1 switch gives you a really wide range of sounds from true Stratocaster sound to Humbugger sound. :)

Both of your stratocasters are beautiful, Matt. I especially like the first one pictured. 8)

Nice '64, Matt. I love a mint guard on a black body and a rosewood neck.

Do you have a favourite from those two?

What pickups are in the '64???

I love the 60s custom pickups in my '60 strat. Some of the best they offer, i think.
