Hey guys and gals,
I've got a '72 Tele Custom RI, and find that I love the neck humbucker, but the bridge single coil is VERY thin sounding and weak - now, I love the sound of both pickups in the '52 Tele Reissue (that fatter, bassier sound), and I'm wondering if anyone here has replaced their bridge pickup in a Tele like mine - and what kind of sound they've gotten from it.
The neck humbucker is very muddy, and the last thing I want is a REALLY muddy sound when I have both pickups engaged, but I do want more punch without putting in a super-hot pickup into the bridge.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
