IM BUYING A SECOND HAND ONE FROM A UK DEALER AND INVESTIGATING THEY SENT ME SOME PICKS SHOWING THAT THE PICKUPS HAVE NO ABBYS SIGNATURE AT THE BACK....MIGHT THIS BE CORRECT THOUGH? CAN IT BE ORIGINAL?
THEY TOLD ME THAT THE PICKUPS AT THE 54 ANNIVERSARIES SOME TIMES HAVE AND SOME OTHER DONT HAVE SIGNATUTRE...TRUE?


THOSE WHO HAVE THE MODEL PLEASE ANSWER

My pick ups have no signature and I believe this is because these pick ups were not hand wound by the lady in question. ME has written on occasions that there is a very simple rule. Abby signs every pup that she personally winds. End of story.
I have not seen any Fender documentation where they claim that these pups are "hand wound by Abby Ybarra". Search the threads as there may be some supporting discussion.
