And some Tribute guitars have so much candy, that it's delivered in a separate box...

What one of your amazing guitars do you think came with the best/coolest case candy? I think the Monterey is beautiful case wise and has great case candy, whereas the John Mayer doesn't have the greatest. Other than those two, I've only seen SRV #1 which was pretty cool, but I still favor the Monterey. :D

The Gilmour came with the Gdansk DVD, a special strap, Phil Taylor's book, and a Gilmouir string set. I consider any hardware, such as bridge cover, vibrato handle, and keys as equipment.

Hope it's not too late, but I'd keep this. It's documentation as far as I'm concerned. Put it in the key envelope  .

For that kind of investment, as founder, they should have had Eric co-sign that letter as well, not withstanding the fact that it's on the COA. That's nothing but good business sense. Thanks for sharing, have a great year, and I'm sure I speak for the rest when I say that I'm looking forward to more quizz's
Doc

I didn't realize the savings one could have in the case candy dvd's for the Gilmour, Clapton or Summers CS's. 8)

Seriously, my CS 56 NOS did come with some of the candy but I'm wondering what is missing?
I do have the COA, the picks, xtra springs, 5 way switch (installed) but did it come with a strap and I'm not sure if the black hardcase with black interior is the original. :?:

I did buy it second hand and it is a 2001, however talking to a Fender rep at Ray Mullins he confirmed that it had belonged to a local Fender rep before me. :?:
either way it is a lot of pleasure just having one C.S.

I cannot imagine how Alain does it, with such an amazing collection, I would be so giddy with joy, I would need to be committed to the happy padded room. :) :D
