Hello,

there are 63, 64, 65 Stratocasters and by just looking you don't see any differences, actually they look very much the same.

so, what are the technical differences (pickups), wood and body changes between them ?

and is the CS 63, 64, 65 Strats are exact replicas or just easy to build look alikes ? ( no offence o.k ? )

In 1963 the body contouring of the Strat became more subtle, but other than that I don't think there were any other physical or technical changes until late 1965 when you the large headstock was first introduced. However, in mid to late 1964 (right before the CBS takeover), the Strat did go through a few cosmetic changes:

Headstock decal changes to new large "transition" logo
Fingerboard position markers change from clay to "pearloid"
Three-Ply pickguard changes from celluloid to plastic
Pickups change from "black bottoms" to "grey bottoms"

In what way? Just curious. I like more extreme body contours on my guitars and was wondering which '60's era strat would have the most extreme contours. Thanks in advance.

Curious to note that the early '60's Gibson SG's had more extreme bevelling on their bodies. I wonder if it was a '60's thing to have deeper curves on guitars back then.

so nothing realy did make a huge different in sound, they were identical guitars ?

a pickup change from black to gray bottoms would effect the sound?

was there a technical pickup change thru those years ?

If'll order a CS 65 would it be the exact guitat by 65 Stratocaster specs, what pickups I'll get?

As you can see in this comparison of a '62 Strat and a '63 Strat, the cutaway angle of the upper backside is not as steep on the '63 Strat.
