For those that are lucky enough to possibly have one of these (Alain??) or who just happen to know...

Did the #1 tribute have a slab or lam rosewood board? Can anyone confirm that this is also consistent with the original (assume it is but was hoping to confirm).

thanks!

John Cruz spent numerous hours to get all the specs of the #1 so one can suppose it was the same for the neck

I always wondered, the light part of the body above the neck and middle pickups... is it worn down in any way? Is there actually a groove in the wood, or is it just discolored from the rest of the finish?

It's worn down at various levels, but a deep worn down, down to several millimeters at the most.

. I also seem to remember that the letters on SRV's guitar were block and not engraved into the scratchplate. Is that not so? Hmmmmmm.....did the company misrepresent?

For clarification, videos of SRV playing #1 show either a plain black scratchplate or one with luminescent
block letters. I don't every recall seeing the logo script above on his stage guitar. Only it being made part of the Artist Series Stratocaster, and then finding it's way on to the Tribute. Does that sound correct?
