Can anyone shed light on Custom shop serial numbers. I`ve been offered a Custom Shop Tele late 90`s Ser # CN(xxxxxx) fender site says Korean but I`m told it says made in America on it. I heard it is american if CN is followed by 5 digits not 6 (Korean) I would appreciate any help thanks.

Correct, CN serial prefix is sometime used on Custom Shop instruments from the 90s.

I have a CS guitar with CN and 6 digits so your info is not correct.
