Hi all,
I recently acquired some Strat pickups that are signed : AY 7-10-66 on the bottoms.
They appear to be unused, and sound fantastic.

My question is, are these truly 45 years old, or did Abby sign them 'as if' it were '66 ?
I have pictures if anyone is interested or needs to see...

Thanks !!!

(I tried writing Fender Customer Support, but never received an answer, or it got inadvertently directed to my spam folder and I missed it, but I don't want to bug them about it)

could you be a little more specific ?
The circumstances around the purchase arouse no suspicions, they were not advertised as such.

The guard and pots and switch do not go with the pickups, I installed them in that guard.
It's simply the pickups I'm concerned with..

Thanks :)

Somebody faked her initials, and they may not be Fender pickups. Stagger looks weird.

It looks like your absolutely correct.
after searching some more I finally found a genuine set of Abby pickups from '66.
Thanks so much for your time, and sorry, didn't mean to cause a stir... :)
