According to a CS specsheet I found online (I am assuming is real?), my 2006 CS Bass VI reissue had a plastic nut put on it at the CS.
Broke on first string change after having it only 2 weeks.

@BC44:

Nice neck on the tele. I love when the maple boards get worn. So cool looking.
