I just bought a used CS Relic Nocaster and the end strap button looks like it's been replaced. The button looks new, not reliced, and the screw is a phillips head. Also, one of the pickguard screws is only a half a screw, looks like it may have been glued on to the pickguard. Didn't notice any of these "defects" when I bought the guitar. I know I'm probably being anal, but is there any source for the correct screws and button?

Thanks in advance....

Take the ones you have and bury them in the ground for a few weeks.

Guitar Parts Resource will have what your looking for. The screws will relic themselves pretty fast.

Thanks Voodoo, just ordered what I needed, the biggest problem was I couldn't find any slot head screws, which Guitar Parts Resource did have. Just have to give them time to relic, as you said....

I believe that Gregg Rogers sells aged parts and screws, including slot-head.

Hey, Butterscotch, thanks for the tip; they're just what I needed and I just ordered them. I had ordered some from Guitar Parts, and, because the pics weren't very clear, they had phillips head screws and weren't reliced. Gregg Rogers site had both pics and descriptions so I know I ordered exactly what I wanted.

Thanks, again....
