dear friends
im buying this guitar: http://www.coda-music.com/product_info. ... ts_id=6100
everything is fine according to my needs even the modern specs

the only thing that makes me worry a little bit is that ive never (even at the most expencive masterbuilts - like the 54 anniversary for example) seen a ONE PIECE ash body...are they doing 2 or 3 pices just to stay accurate to the past or 2,3 are better that one?

please help... :?

IMO, a two to three piece body is always better than a one piece. I say this because wood is wood and if a one piece body has a proclivity towards warping, the whole body will warp where obviously, the problems might be considerable. With a two or three piece on the other hand, the other pieces will push against the 'defective' piece so to speak and suppress any kind of warpage.

I actually had a one piece Clapton Strat once which started warping at the lower bout, all the way to the output jack where the bottom screw holes of the pickguard and the upper part of the jack cup's screw holes began cracking from the wood stretching.

YMMV.
