Custom Shop offered these in 2004 or so. Does anyone here know how many were made? How many in each color: burst and blonde? How much were they sold for new? What pickup was installed?

I've searched and have looked for one on eBay but no luck recently. I would consider a trade for my '68 Tele bass. I want one in blonde. Any information would be appreciated.

It would appear they're making them again??

Perhaps Mike or someone can confirm?

It took a few phone calls today to find out this is a special order run for Musician's Friend / Guitar Center. They have the same specs as the Fender Custom Shop run from 2004 to 2006 and in these three colors: Honey Blonde, White Blonde and Two-Tone Sunburst. From the photos I was sent the two Blonde color finishes appear very similar.

"Vintage Pro" is a proprietary name given by MF / GC. Some of the features listed on the MF website are erroneous and will be corrected. The pup is a single coil, the bridge a two-saddle design, there are two control knobs for tone and volume, and the pickguard is solid one-ply. No photos are yet on their website.
