I appreciate your candor. I'm guessing you're British (most likely)? I have a great friend in Monmouthshire who once told me "Mate, what I like about you Yanks is that you are can do people, not telling me why something can't be done". I'll make you a challenge (after my 3rd glass of really good California chardonnay tonight). Once I get this master built masterpiece, I'll record Sultans of Swing, something off of Valleys of Neptune by Hendrix and Slow dancing by Mayer. If I can't get something that sounds remarkably similar to their tones, I'll send you your choice of strings for your guitar.
Cheers mate,
Phil

Phil, your on!

And yes I do agree with your Monmouthshire pal. Americans by and large are can do folk. Something I appreciate as I'm far too tight to keep buying. Resulting in me making necks, nuts, amps and now pedals for myself. Just plough in head first and see what emerges as the dust settles kind of affairs.

So Send me a MP3 too. I'll make it easier for you, 2 out of 3 and I too will send you your choice of strings.

Not that I do not for one instance believe that you can't do it. I just want to hear your best shot.

Sounds good! Now, after cocking off, and the Chard has worn off, I'd better deliver! I will though. Guitar should come sometime in late September or in October.

Cheers!
