Unfortunately the CS has no plans to reissue the Bronco or any similar CBS-era short-scale guitar. Perhaps Fender will reissue this guitar along with the matching silverface amp which came with under the Squier banner. But don't expect to have this student model as a Custom Shop reissue or a regular Fender product.

You might also know that the original Bronco was available only in Dakota Red, Black and Olympic White.

If you really want a Bronco in Lake Placid Blue, take a quick look into the vintage market and buy a used one from eBay or your local music store.

And if you've trouble to refinish the guitar yourself, then you must contact a professional luthier to make that job for you

Amazing!

Mike, if you're able to recreate the late-1960s Bronco guitar, then I suppose the Custom Shop's amplifier section could also recreate the matching silverfaced amp which came with the guitar.

Reissuing the Bronco student package as a Custom Shop limited-edition run will really suck! :P
