I am still hoping that a Pretenders Telecaster will appear at the Namm Show this winter. :D

Don't expect for a mirrored Chrissie Hynde Pretenders Telecaster so far - unless the CS can make one for you without Chrissie's signature on the headstock.

I am at the point that I am not expecting anything anymore. If it happens, fine, if not, so be it!

Chrissie no longer uses the original mirrored guitar.

The guitars she plays nowadays are based on the mirrored Tele but sport modern refinements such as 22 medium-jumbo frets and a 9.5" fretboard radius.

Thank you for the information. You seem to know a lot about Chrissie and what specs are on her current Telecasters. Have a nice Christmas!

No problem. It is the thought that counts.

If Fender releases a Pretenders Telecaster it would be a exact representation of Chrissie's actual stage guitar, both in regular and custom artist versions.

BTW I consider the original mirrored guitar as a good basis for a Tribute model. :)

Why would they start doing that for Pretenders? Earlier tribute guitars have seldom been exact.
It's more about "close enough" than exact.
In the case of Chrissie Hynde, at least one of her Telecasters won't be exact even if Fender wanted it to be - from what I can tell, it has a Brazilian rosewood neck, and Fender will not use that anymore.

Very cool looking Telecaster. Hey I can live with a rosewood neck. I am not picky. :D
