From what I see you want the mirrored Tele because of the Pretenders' (and Chrissie's) influence.

What ever Fender can do to get Chrissie to agree on , would be fine with me.
I don't foresee this happening in the near future, but one can only hope. :D

I have never seen Chrissie at the winter Namm Show. It would be great if she did a short appearance at next years winter Namm Show at the Fender booth, but I guess that won't happen since there is not a signature Tele with her endorsement approval.

Fender come on and do a Chrissi Hynde Telecaster. It seems that there are players out there with their names on a Fender guitar, that I have never heard of. You did a Sheryl Crow Telecaster, now do a Hynde please. :D

In order to make a signature guitar based on the mirrored Telecaster Fender should obtain Chrissie's authorization first.

The CS cannot build a signature model without the artist's consentment.

Someone please get Chrissie to consent. She is a true Fender Tele player and what an honor it would be to have a signature Tele with her name on the headstock. :D

If Chrissie was a guy, would there have already been a guitar with her name on it?
Just curious and wondering! I would love to add a Telecaster with her name on it into my collection. That would be the icing on the cake!

Here's a temporary solution, get a rosewood-neck American Standard Telecaster and change the factory-installed guard with a mirrored replacement! :) (even without Chrissie's signature on the head!).

Otherwise be patient until Chrissie approves the idea for a signature guitar bearing her name.

It still is not the same. I get where you are coming from, but has anybody from Fender approached her on the idea of a guitar bearing her name? I haven't figured out why Sheryl Crow has a signature guitar and she is not an icon like Chrissie is (IMO) :D

How many times we will tell you that Fender coudn't build a signature guitar without the artist's approval?

You're really boring!

Fender get her approval and build the Telecaster for us to purchase. I don't care how boring this is to some, but those who want this guitar will be happy if it can be done. :D

Prentenders Telecaster please. How about doing a 1 off and presenting it to Chrissie and maybe she would approve of Fender making a limited edition of her Telecaster and showing it at the Namm Show this winter! Now that would be a very cool idea, don't you think? :D
