I would have loved to have a Brownie

You're decidely a huge Clapton fan.

Did you know that Yvonne Elliman was seen playing Brownie? You're not alone!

Is that one of the clones?

Also, does anyone remember that she played Mary Magdeline in Jesus Christ Super Star?

Hopefully Fender might consider doing a "Brownie" that is more affordable for the working musician, like me. I don't need all the swag that came with the limited edition "Brownie", just the cool guitar itself and just knowing the history behind the guitar, is good enough for me. I love my Fenders! :D

Buy a 2-color-sunburst Buddy Guy Strat and you'll have a a 2-color-sunburst Clapton Strat.

I already have a 2TB 54 Strat from the custom shop back from 1994, but it isn't "Brownie". The Buddy Holly Strat is nice, but it doesn't give me that whoa factor like "Brownie" does.
Anyway I am going to keep hoping for the Chrissie Tele. It took years of me asking another guitar manufacturer to make a Marc Bolan. I finally got that guitar a VOS a couple of years ago when I saw it at the winter Namm Show. So there is always a light at the end of the tunnel! :D

Is that Teardrop Strat you're talking about?

No it wasn't the Strat. It was the other guitar Marc was associated with.

Perhaps you mean the Metal Front guitar built by Tony Zemaitis.

Marc was associated with the Metal Front for years, Ronnie Wood too! :D

So you've told Tony to build a Metal Front for you.

The guitar I bought that I saw at the Namm Show was the Marc Bolan VOS LP. I can not afford to buy a Tony Zemaitis, but I do have one of the Greco's that Zemaitis gave permission to make. :D

If you know someone who owns a music store, they might be able to get you a visitors pass. Summer Namm is opened to the public on Saturday. Go to the Namm web site and it should give you all the information. The winter show in Anaheim CA, sometimes has Sunday as a public day. The public day has a small fee to purchase a pass.
