Here's fun..... pick a number between 1 and 100

If anyone gets it right on the first guess, you will win a brand new flawed Custom Shop Jeff Beck !

You'll have to get it repaired, you're getting it as is.

Let the fun begin !

Update: Many Custom Shop owners on this forum have told me Fender DOES support their CS models beyond the standard bench tech at the local retailer, and that the CS will make anything right. That's great to hear. I am a Strat man all the way, and was looking forward to buying more CS models in the near future. My feeling of being left out in the cold with a new CS could have been avoided if the Fender customer support rep on the phone had given me any of the information you CS owners have. Oh well, maybe he didn't know a lot about Custom Shops or the "Custom Care" program you forum members have told me about. We'll chalk this one up to a perhaps limited experience phone rep.

I guess I should limit the total number of guesses allowed, otherwise folks could start ranging.

Well, nobody got it in the first twenty guesses. (in this thread and the other I posted)
For the record, the number was 69, and was just guessed by Kineman Karma this morning 5/22.

I also edited the title of the thread because it appeared inflammatory to some

Man, you're really not happy with the JB huh?
I want to believe there's a solution that would make you happy. It must be a great playing guitar, even if you're not happy with the sound. Don't give up on us baby, we can still pull throoooogh. 8)

Funny, I've heard from a few enthusiastic owners here and I'm thinking of quietly ordering one more Custom Shop from a small local dealer down the road in Melbourne FL rather than the chain store in Orlando. I really liked to support local businesses as much as possible, and I may give the CS one more shot at getting it right the first time. I would have bought from the small local shop the first time but I think I foolishly believed the big company got their CS units shipped a little sooner ? Dumb. BTW... I do love the mechanics of the JB.
