Hey guys, I will be receiving a picture of the neck of the guitar any time today, if don't receive it today, chances are I won't see it until next Monday cause Todd is leaving for the Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago tomorrow. I did talk to him breifly today and here's the deal (i) the neck is after a few ´pictures that he had of the so called Cream Strat; (ii) the special tint and the figuring on the neck will bring this neck as close as possible to that on the Cream Strat and (iii) he's pretty sure that that neck (the Cream Strat neck) had a regular satin finish on in but due to the wear, tint, passage of time and figuring it looks the way it looks nowadays.

Let me know what you think and BTW I have no idea how to post pics on this website so if you could give some instructions I'd be happy to post when I receive pics, so we can all comment on Todd's work before we sign off on it.

Have a good one,

If you fancy a real throw-back to the early nineties look and sound, the real issue is the straps. I understand these were made by Gianni Versace.

I've forgotten to mention Phil Palmer and Mark Knopfler.

I know that this bunch of musicians looks a bit older, though I'm not as 100% certain if Eric will decide to "reform" his former band line-up in the future.

Wait and see...

You'll first need somewhere to host them. If you like I can do it for you (I have some webspace) if you email the photos to me. I'll drop you an email to that hotmail address we see as your username.

Thanks a lot Lefty, I got your e-mail, unfortunately, Todd couldn't get me the pics due to some problems with his camera. He told I'd be happy with the result though I'm a little nervous. Anyway, if when he returns he's able to send me pics I'll send them to you so you can post them.
Thanks again,

Hey guys, it's been a while since we've talked about this. A friend of mine just got my new strat (the flamed one) from Todd and took some so, so pics, that I've sent Lefty for him to post so we can discuss them. I won't be seeing the guitar until a couple of weeks so its just a sneak peak, but from what I've seen in the three photographs I sent Lefty, I was very pleased. Let me know what you think after Lefty posts them.
Thanks Lefty!
M.

Can´t wait to see those pics! Did you also have the wear replicated, or is the focus on the tinting in NOS...

Hey Robert, it's not so much wear, I mean the EC guitar of the Cream concert does not look weared as in beat up like Blackie does, but a natural combination between the tinting of the neck which is much darker and the flaming of such neck, that's the combination I went for in this piece. That's what causes the guitar to look older, more vintage but not weared out.
Anyway, hope you like it.

I love it! Great job, nice piece of wood with a beautiful grade of flame (not too much, not too little...). I really like the tinting on it.

Thanks Robert, yes I think Todd did a very nice job on this one. I'll know more when I see it live.

Hi, I think it looks beautiful. Hard to beat a black/flamey combo. I have a lefty 'blackie' with a superb flamey neck see here. I hope you're very happy with it. These guitars play like dreeeeams :D

I was in a mega rush this morning (yet another sleep in beyond alarm! lol ) but I saw your emails and quickly got to work resizing etc. Glad to help. Any more you get just send over and I'll put 'em up :)

They're really great Lefty specially the black one, I was trying to go for a flamier neck with a darker tint to it so it could ressemble as close as possible the strat used by Clapton in the Cream Reunion concerts.
I think Todd did a good Job.
Thank you for all your help, and yes as soon as I receive more pics I'll send them to you.
M.
