So I finally got my Bass VI. I first want to say.. Wow. Amazing!!

Now my question is this. There is a metal cover for the bridge. It came non attached. So my question is. How do I attach the bridge cover? It doesn't lock on, or hold together.

Can anyone answer this? Fender?

Thanks

Is it the Custom Shop Reissue from last year ?
Were they delivered with a metal cover ?
Normally you press the metal cover and it stays in position.
Where is your tremolo ?
What a light string gauge for a Bass VI !
Looks more like a Jazzmaster

Take a look at the bridge cover in the picture above. It will "click" onto the bridge as shown. You may have to spread or tighten the cover a bit to make it stay in place. Also, be aware it may want to rub against either your big E or the little E string, so you may have to make some further adjustment.

It looks like the same bridge cover I have on my Mustang and my Bigsby Tele. Shouldn't be a problem.
