Hey guys,

I'm thinking of changing my stock pups in my american standard strat and I have been thinking about CS69s. Is there a noticeably difference in tone? Has anybody A/Bd them?

Could anybody tell me if they are higher/lower output, brighter/darker, more midrangey/less midrangey etc...

Many thanks.

The '69s have lower output, which means less mids and more treble and bass. The American Standards also have a different magnet stagger that matches the fretboard better. The '69s will need some adjusting to get a balanced tone.
