Yup I do agree with you!
The New 59 Precision Bass really like the original used 1959 Precision Bass. I adore it.

Been thinking the same thing myself. The proud owner of a 2001 custom shop 59 percision closet classic in vintage white. Would like to hear from some of you owners.

Did the Custom Shop make a 22-fret version of the '59 P?

It's also possible to order a Masterbuilt Jason Smith '59 P/J Custom with the top mount jack option? Because many P/J Fender basses had a side-mount jack.

Well it looks like I'm going to get another bass just for roundwounds. The Jazz is staying with the flatwounds. I would like a '59 Percision but in a color of my chooseing. If I'm going to do the Custom Shop wait again it will be in my color. Does anyone know how much extra it would cost to get one in just a custom color. I know better to ask about the wait as it can be different on any given day.

Actually, I 'll be placeing an order in the next week or so. I'm just looking at the color chart in my old Fender catalog. Does anyone want to put some input in on what color my '59 percision will be?
