I recently purchased a Custom Shop "NOS Custom Classic" Strat. It is a beautiful guitar and has a fantastic neck and set up. I have looked on line to find out more about it, but came up with very little. Apparently they are not being made anymore so info is limited.

Can anyone tell me more about this model?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Rickc007, that is exactly what I was looking to find. Mine is as described with the "V" neck and it is quickly becoming my favorite guitar. That neck is killer. The info says "lightly figured maple", but mine looks almost like birdseye maple. One of the prettiest guitars I've ever seen.

Yes, I am a huge V neck fan, and that series is the best
Not too huge

they say "lightly figured" but some are heavily figured birds eye, or flame

Below are some pics of my neck
I put it on a Mercedes Blue Clapton body, with Lace Sensors

The Custom Classic was designed to basically be the Custom Shop's version of an American Standard strat. Modern specs and playability as opposed to the vintage-style stuff. Nice guitars; those that I know that have them are VERY fond of them.

I've got the "C" neck Custom Classic. I just love this guitar.
