Has anyone done business with Music Gallery out of IL? I tried doing business with them, but the lack of customer service over the phone did not impress me at all.
I was interested in a coupe of 3 tone burst strats from the custom shop, but I can not get the saleman on the phone to talk with me.
I would appreciate any feedback on this store, because it will help me in what I decide or not to do business with them. The way the economy is at the moment, you would think that customer service would be excellent.

I just got the call from the salesman at this store and he was wonderful. He took the time to explain the difference between the 2 guitars and was very nice. I guess I should be more patient and wait a few minutes before I jump to conclusions. Now I have to make up my mind on what I want to do and what guitar to get.
What is the difference between the 6105 frets and the vintage frets? That is the big difference with these 2 guitars.

I bought the strat with the vintage frets just a few minutes ago from Frank at Music Gallery. He gave me a great price and great customer service. Check out their website on the cool strats they have in stock. This was the only store that had the strat I was looking for in 3 tone sunburst with a maple neck that had a small neck radius that wasn't chuncky. :D

IMHO one of THE if not THE best CS dealer in the nation.
I've known Frank Glionna for quite sometime now. First class individual, courteous and knows more about the CS than any book I've read.

I feel I've dropped enough money in his shop to fund a comfortable retirement for him and will keep doing it as long as he owns the shop.
I have three Masterbuilts on order with him right now!!

Call him and tell him Jose sent you, he will treat you right.

Hi David,
It would not be right of me to release the price I paid for the Strat. But this is the model I bought that will arrive at my door today from Music Gallery. This guitar is on their website
FENDER CUSTOM SHOP 1956 STRAT RELIC in 3 TONE SUNBURST R30137
I hope this helps you out a bit.
Contact Music Gallery 1-847-432-6350 and ask for Frank. You will get a good deal, because I usually buy all my custom shop strats from www.makenmusic.com They just didn't have the guitar I wanted this time in stock, but Frank did.
Let me know what guitar you decide on buying from them.
Take care

:D
