Hi,

I have a '55 relic masterbuilt strat, built in '05 which I bought used last year. As far as I can tell from web research it was a limited edition.

It has a COA, trem, ashtray cover and the original 3 way pickup switch, hang tag, manual and CS case sticker.

What else should it have come with in the case? I'm guessing a strap and lead, but anything else? Can I replace them?

Thanks.

A soft cloth usually comes with Fender guitars:

And extra springs:

And, as you say, a strap and a lead!

Thanks folks, I'll try and order the missing lead, strap and cloth.

The previous owner used all the springs in the trem, locked down like an EJ!

Don't buy the cable. Coils up, is very stiff. Why would you want the strap? It's just a very basic one, I have never seen anyone use it. There must be thousands lying unused in drawers. Cloth: any cloth is good. If you buy a Gibson cleaning set, you'll get some extra. Best of both worlds.

Cheers

Nope, obviously not. Great that you changed them. Maybe I should buy another guitar from you to see it.

Cheers

Soft leather with a chrome buckle, and a top of the line 20 ft cable. Nice!

I confirm ME :D :D :D
And the leather does smell leather..with the FCS Logo stamped and the cable looks like of the same quality as the Evidence Audio cable of the David Gilmour 's Strat®

Do the Schaller strap locks fit on this strap?

I don't use straplocks, so I'm really not qualified to answer this, but I see no reason why they wouldn't work.
The strap ends are just regular leather strap thickness and the button holes are regular size and shape, so no difference to any other strap in that respect! :)
