Some of us old FCS alum thought we'd meet at the Fender booth at NAMM last week. Here's a pretty cool shot... of course my eyes were closed. Oh well, what're going to do?

that's interesting, I've realized until now that I've never actually seen Pamelina... only seen her work. nice to see the face behind the awesome-ness.

Great photo!

John, you haven't changed much since I last saw your interview in Modern Guitars circa Jan '07. 8)

John, I always hear about the great "Cusom Shop John Page Era", but don't know exactly what years spanned that period. I know that you were one of the founders back in 1987, but what year did you actually leave Fender Custom Shop?

Thanks

HA! Once you're old with long gray hair and a white beard, how much older can you look?

I was there from the beginning in January of 1987 through November 7, 1998. From there I went on to create the Fender Museum of Music and the Arts (now the Fender Center for the Performing Arts) and the Kids Rock Free Educational Program. Now I'm back to building guitars and doing my art.

Life's a circle!
