Fender's recent offering of the CS Master Built 1970s Jazz Bass Heavy Relic is missing the "Offset Contour Body" decal!!
This is a considerable oversight. It's ALL about the details!!! C'mon guys! Even the FSR 70'S Jazz Basses had this decal. [/img]

Mike could it be period correct in that the decal is placed over the top of the lacquer and worn off as part of the ageing process?

Thats my best guess.

I would take people not questioning your judgement as a compliment mate. After all your the highest authority a lot of us can go to.
