Post subject: My New Custom Shop P Bass!

Well, I pulled the trigger on a Custom Shop '59 P Bass. I got a pretty good deal on it.
It looks beautiful, and plays and sounds just as good. I'm playing it through a Trace Elliot 715 for now.

I plan on using this bass with my Rock Band program at the middle school where I teach music full time. Can you say, lucky kids?

very nice! as a fellow winnipegger I must ask....do you teach at a private school? I would never let any middle school kids from around here put their greasy paws on something like that...

Yup. Very mature and closely supervised private school students.

We have another bass as well. A very cheap no-name model. This one will come out for special performances.
