I just bought a great secondhand Masterbuilt Strat, unfortunately the case candy (Manuals, tags, wrenches, picks, strap, cable...) was missing (the COA is included).

Is it possible to buy the case candy pack from the Custom Shop aftermarket or any other way to get one?

Thanks in advance for any help!

To get the COA is the most important, the rest is just "candy" which can easily be replaced item per item.

As Alain states, the indiviual items can all be replaced, possibly through a dealer, but alternatively keep an eye on eBay auctions, as case candy can, and does appear there!

Welcome to the Forum. There's been a great deal of discussion in recent past regarding verification of a guitar's pedigree. Unfortunately you likely missed much of it. You would have learned that we urge staying away from transactions where the COA is not included with the guitar. The only significant "case candy" aside from that would be the 'production tags'. Fender's owner's manual is generic, and the other items you mentioned I wouldn't expect to accompany the guitar. When I swapped out my CS, I included the items I mentioned plus a detailed description of the build. I may have left the wrenches in the case as a matter of course, but the strap and cable were not part of the offering.

Ok, thanks all for your input, much appreciated.

I know that the COA is a must have when you buy a second hand CS guitar - the rest of the goodies is nice to have. I think the lack of the case candy doesn't lower the resale value of the guitar that much.

zzdoc, thanks for the welcome, i'll try the forum search function for learning more!

You're welcome. I hope you won't have issues swapping out that guitar should you find it in your interests to do so.

Doc

On ebay they have a seller known as reliablefender.... he sells guitars that are parted out so I imagine he would sell "case candy" too.

Might as well put a Payday wrapper on a Tootsie Roll for all that's worth.

Apparently missed the most recent notorious thread on the subject.

I believe the subject was "reliable fender sells neck plates". on the Strat Forum.
