Hi-

I just thought I would mention that there is a pretty nice Fender writting journal free w/ $75 purchase at the Fender store - link at the top of this page.

Anyways, if you are like me and have friends who like Fender guitars or simply like some of these items for yourself - it seems like a pretty nice deal. In fact, I placed 2 order over the last few days to get 2 of the journals and some gifts from some friends. In particular, there are some good deals in the clearance section, although some quanities seem to be getting low - so now is a good time if you're interested.

Yeah - of course I boght the Custom Shop daily 2010 calendar - what better way to start each day than looking at CS guitar?

I received mine yesterday. It's too cool. I bought my wife and baby girl a few Fender CS shirts.

Wow, so the place must have a "rock 'n roll" theme to it!
Got to love that !

I'm waiting to find out if it is there. He had something in mind at another location.

Hi Doc, the first location we were bidding on fell through ,we went to the table with them 3 times with verbal commitments only to have it fall apart. The problem being in rennovation costs an d bringing it up to code, the build was one of the oldest in Tucson and part of the original presidio. they were still hooked to a 60 yr old sewer line and had sump pumps to move waste water up to the sewer ,it was a nightmare. And in retrospect im glad it did not work .The concept was great though, We were going to call it The Artichoke Society, and specialize in native foods and cultural events.
The Cafe Tremolo is located in a mall in NW tucson in the resort areas, it is a Rock and Roll bar that will provide fresh homestyle cooking and home grown musical talent as well as special dinner entertainment packages where I will bring in a guest musician and do a clinic and the students , get to have dinner and jam with guest artist.
My price points willbe between 8-12 for lunch and 12-16 for dinner. All high quality fresh ingrediants.
I posted some picks of the place under construction in the Baja 1000 thread on the lounge forum .We signed the lease 2 weeks ago and hope to be open in Jan.Will keep all posted when it starts to take shape.
And Russianracehorse,if your out there thanks dude .

[quote="gratz"]Hi Doc,

The venture sounds great, and I wish you much luck with it. Somehow I was under the impression that you were looking at the mid-Atlantic region.

Looking forward to the rest of the details. One of my professional organizations likes Tuscon for annual meetings. That might find me out that way someday. I also have an old high school buddy living there now. I'll steer him your way once things get rolling.

Doc. :wink:
